Comparison of the Prediction of a Pressure and Temperature Using Moldflow Analysis with Measured Values in the Form.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá okruhem problémů v oblasti vstřikovacího procesu, a to za pomoci simulačního softwaru Moldflow. Teoretická část této práce je zaměřena právě na samotnou technologii vstřikování, popis softwaru, konstrukci forem a využití polymerních materiálů v procesu. Praktická část popisuje stávající stav výrobku a analýzu provedenou v softwaru Moldflow. Poté je provedena optimalizace teploty a tlaku dle predikce. Výsledné hodnoty, získané pomocí analýz, jsou porovnávány s reálnými daty naměřenými v dutině formy. Také je řešena problematika optimalizace tloušťky stěny výrobku. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty poznatky z jednotlivých částí práce a porovnány hodnoty vy-počtené softwarem s reálnými hodnotami naměřenými čidly od firmy Kistler.

Abstract:

The Diploma Thesis deals with problems in the injection molding process, with the help of Moldflow simulation software. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on injection technology process itself, software description, mold design and the use of polymer materials in the process. The practical part describe the current state of the product and the analysis performed in the software Moldflow. Then the temperature and pressure optimization is performed according to the prediction. The resulting values obtained by the analyzes are compared with the real data measured in the mold cavity. The issue of optimizing the wall thickness of the product is also addressed. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the findings from the individual parts of the work and compares the values calculated by the software Moldflow with the real values mea-sured by the Kistler sensors.
