Abstract:
Disertační práce je rozdělena do deseti hlavních kapitol, které se věnují československým mezinárodním hotelům v daném období z hlediska výstavby, architektury a umění. Zároveň tato studie zkoumá ekonomické a politické souvislosti, za jakých se tyto stavby realizovaly. Výzkum byl proveden v rámci oboru kulturní historie, ale i přesto má interdisciplinární přesah až k uměleckohistorickým studiím.
Abstract:
This doctoral dissertation is divided into ten main chapters dealing with Czechoslovak international hotels in the selected period scrutinizing their construction, architecture and art. At the same time, this research study explores economical and political conditions connected to constructions of such buildings.
