Impacts of the introduction of the bank levy on the state budget

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá dopady zavedení bankovní daně na státní rozpočet. Cílem této práce je kvantifikace dopadů případného zavedení bankovní daně na státní rozpočet České republiky. Pro splnění tohoto cíle byla provedena analýza států institucionálně blízkých České republice, které zavedly bankovní daň. Na základě této analýzy byly nastíněny možné scénáře negativních dopadů spojených se zavedením bankovní daně na státní rozpočet. V závěrečné části práce byla provedena kvantifikace dopadů případného zavedení bankovní daně na státní rozpočet České republiky a formulováno doporučení pro omezení těchto negativních dopadů.

Abstract:

This work deals with the effects of the introduction of bank levy on the state budget. The aim of this work is to quantify the effects of the possible introduction of a bank levy on the state budget of the Czech Republic. To meet this goal, an analysis of countries institutionally close to the Czech Republic, which introduced a bank levy, was performed. Based on this analysis, possible scenarios of negative impacts associated with the introduction of a bank levy on the state budget were outlined. In the final part of the work, the quantification of the effects of the possible introduc-tion of a bank tax on the state budget of the Czech Republic was performed and rec-ommendations for the reduction of these negative effects were formulated.
