Abstract:

Karel Tutsch, zakladatel galerie Na bidýlku, která byla ve své době vcelku nenápadným a naproti tomu i neuvěřitelně jedinečným místem. Právě zde se scházeli umělci všeho zaměření a to i v dobách tuhého socialismu, který se veškerým těmto aktivitám stavěl více či méně na odpor. Tento ostrůvek svobody, dokázal Karel Tutsch vybudovat v podstatě z ničeho. V následující práci se pokusím o kompletní shrnutí života i činnosti tohoto galeristy a sběratele, přičemž bych nechtěla zapomenout ani na výše zmiňovanou galerii Na bidýlku.

Abstract:

Karel Tutsch was a founder of the Galerie na bidylku. In its time of glory, this was quite an inconspicuous and unbelievable place to be. It was here at the Galerie na Bidylku where various artists got together despite the socialist regime’s opposition to these types of activities. Karel Tutsch created this island of freedom literally from nothing. In the following thesis, I will try to go into more life details of this gallerist and art collector but I did not want to leave the Galeria na bidylku unmentioned.
