The use of biographical anamnesis in individual planning

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na využívání biografické anamnézy v individuálním plánování. Hlavním cílem práce je odhalit, zda se ve vybraných domovech pro seniory využívá biografická anamnéza a dále zjistit, zda a jakým způsobem ovlivňuje tvorbu individuálního plánu a následně samotnou práci. K tomu mi dopomohly tři výzkumné otázky, které se zaobírají hlavně tím, jak klíčoví pracovníci jednají s lidmi s demencí, dále jestli biografická anamnéza pomáhá při individuálním plánování a v neposlední řadě, zda jsou díky biografii lepší výsledky v cílech klienta. K dosažení cíle jsou využita primární data ze sběru informací pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zaměstnanci pobytových zařízení. Informace z rozhovorů jsou analyzovány pro zodpovězení výzkumných otázek. Z výzkumu práce bylo zjištěno, že práce s biografií přímo ovlivňuje, jak práci s individuálními plány, plány péče, tak samotnou práci o klienty. Z výsledků plyne doporučení k používání biografické anamnézy v praxi při práci s klienty v pobytových zařízeních.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the use of biographical anamnesis in individual planning. The main goal of the work is to reveal whether a biographical anamnesis is used in selected retirement homes and to find out whether and how it influences the creation of an individual planning and subsequently the work itself. To achieve this I chose three research questions, which mainly deal with how key employees deal with people with dementia, whether the biographical history helps with individual planning and, last but not least, whether the biography results in better results in the client's goals. To achieve the goal, primary data from the collection of information are used through semi-structured interviews with employees of residential facilities. The information from interviews is analyzed to answer research questions. The research of the work revealed that work with biographies directly affects both the work with individual care plans and the work itself with clients. The results suggest recommendations for the use of biographical anamnesis in practice when working with clients in residential facilities.
