Teoretická časť práce je zameraná na oboznámenie sa s firemnou identitou, jej históriou a významom v súčasnosti. Rozobratie jednotlivých zložiek firemnej identity so zameraním na ich význam. Ďalej je bližšie špecifikovaná vizuálna identita a jej typy s konkrétnymi príkladmi miest. Väčšia časť teoretickej práce je venovaná súčasnej vizuálnej identite miest v zahraničí a na Slovensku. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on basics in corporate identity, its history and importance at present. Its aim is to break down individual components of corporate identity with focus on their meaning. Furthermore, visual identity and its types are specified on examples of cities around the world.
