Preparedness for Mass Casualty Incidents in the South Moravia Region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá připraveností na hromadné postižení osob v Jihomoravském kraji. Téma nebylo v rámci dostupných zdrojů zatím prakticky zpracováno, i když události nedávné doby ukazují důležitost tohoto tématu. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na všeobecné shrnutí problematiky hromadného postižení osob a věnuje se medicíně katastrof. Seznamuje čtenáře se základním legislativním rámcem, který se týká řešení hromadného postižení osob a úkolů jednotlivců a složek, které se na události podílejí. Praktická část se věnuje rozboru konkrétních případů, které řešila Zdravotnická záchranná služba Jihomoravského kraje p. o. Cílem této práce bude posoudit postupy, které byly zvoleny při řešení těchto mimořádných událostí. Jde jak o komplexnost řešení mimořádné události z pohledu zdravotnické záchranné služby, tak o činnost jednotlivců na místě události.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the preparedness for mass disability of persons in the South Moravian Region. The topic has not yet been practically processed within the available sources, although recent events showed the importance of this topic. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on a general summary of the issue of mass disability of persons, it is devoted to emergency care. Introduces the basic legislative framework, related to the mass disability of persons’s management and the roles of individuals and sectors taking part in the event. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of case studies that dealt by the Zdravotnická záchranná služba Jihomoravského kraje p. o. The aim of this work is to assess the procedures that were applied when dealing with emergency events. It concerns both the complexity of solving an emergency from the point of view of the emergency medical service, as well as the activities of individuals at the scene of the event, but also about the activity of an individual at the scene of the event.
