Dance Conservatory as a Phenomenon of Education

Abstract:

V práci jsou shromážděny a pečlivě zpracovány informace z oblasti problematiky taneční profese, jež začíná právě již na tanečních konzervatořích. Sbírá dostupné informace o současném fungování tanečních konzervatoří v České republice, zasazuje je do patřičného kontextu problematiky tanečního vzdělávání, upozorňuje na některé z nedostatků tohoto vzdělávání a hledá možná řešení v komunikaci směrem ven (marketingová komunikace) i dovnitř (školní služby). Je reakcí na fenomén vzdělávání tanečních škol, na rizika, která se s tímto studiem úzce pojí a na počet českých tanečníků v českých divadlech. Zpracovávání informací a hodnocení fungování tanečních konzervatoří probíhá prostřednictvím dvou případových studií, a to Taneční konzervatoře Brno a Taneční konzervatoře hl. m. Prahy. Cílem práce je prostřednictvím získaných informací a případových studií vyhodnotit historii, režim, úspěšnost, spolupráci s externími subjekty, školní služby a marketingovou komunikaci tanečních konzervatoří v České republice a navrhnout možná řešení ke zlepšení jejich provozu.

Abstract:

In this thesis, information from the field of the dance profession, which begins in dance conservatories, is collected and carefully processed. It collects available information on the current functioning of dance conservatories in the Czech Republic, places it in the appropriate context of the issue of dance education, points out some of the shortcomings of this education, and looks for possible solutions in communication outwards (marketing communication) and inwards (school services). It is a reaction to the phenomenon of dance school education, the risks closely related to this study, and the number of Czech dancers in Czech theatres. The processing of information and evaluation of the functioning of dance conservatories is carried out through two case studies, namely the Dance Conservatory of Brno and the Dance Conservatory of the Capital City of Prague. The thesis aims to evaluate the history, mode, success rate, cooperation with external entities, school services, and marketing communication of dance conservatories in the Czech Republic and to propose possible solutions to improve their operation through the information and case studies.
