Public Relations as a Part of Marketing Communication in the Army of Czech Republic

Abstract:

V této diplomové práci se zabývám public relations, jako součást marketingové komunikace armády České republiky a na základě analýzy hodnotím současnou situaci. V první části jsou popsány teoretické poznatky a metody používané v public relations. Druhá část práce analyzuje základní charakteristiku AČR, současný systém využívání metod public relations v praxi a marketingový výzkum. Třetí část, na základě zjištěných výstupů z analytické části, navrhuje koncepty nově zavedených metod, prostředků a nástrojů ke zvýšení kladného ohlasu AČR u široké veřejnosti a zaměstnanců. Pro zjištění fungování systému a informovanosti pracovníků a veřejnosti se současným public relations byly zvoleny rozhovory se zaměstnanci ministerstva obrany v oblasti komunikace s veřejností a komparace dotazníkového šetření. Na základě výsledků marketingového výzkumu jsem navrhl program pro zlepšení stávající situace. Doporučení se týkají zvýšení povědomí o činnostech AČR ve spolupráci s neziskovým sektorem a širokou veřejností, dále pak vytvoření programu pro zvýšení povědomí a motivace zaměstnanců.

Abstract:

I deal with public relations as part of marketing communications the Army of the Czech Republic in this thesis and based on analysis I evaluate the current situation. The first part describes the theoretical knowledge and general methods used in public relations. The second part analyzes the basic characteristics of the ACR, the current system which uses the methods of public relations in practice and Marketing Research. The third part makes a suggestion and concepts the newly established methods, means and tools based on esta-blished outcomes of the analytical part to increase positive response ACR among the general public and employees. To determine the functioning of the system at employee and the general public information with current public relations were chosen interviews with employees of the Ministry of Defense in the area of communication and comparison with marketing research. I designed a program to improve the current situation which is based on the results of marketing research. Recommendations relate to raise awareness about the activities of the ACR in collaboration with NGOs and the general public, as well as a pro-gram to raise the awareness and motivation of employees.
