Potential for cooperation of cultural institutions operating in the part of the urban conservation area „ZÁMECKÉ NÁVRŠÍ“ in Litomyšl

Abstract:

Teoretická část této bakalářské práce se zabývá městem 21. století. Řeší jeho problematiku hlavně v kulturním odvětví, ale také sektor městského veřejného prostoru. Zabývá se také rozvojem měst, kulturním plánováním, které je nedílnou součástí. Dále participací obyvatel, bez které by v podstatě ve většině měst neměla kultura smysl. V neposlední řadě jsou zde popsány typy zřízení kulturních institucí – jejich fungování (příspěvková organizace, zapsaný ústav a další), které autorka využila ke zkoumání a popisuje je v praktické části. Cílem této práce je zjistit možný potenciál spolupráce kulturních institucí, odhalit případné problémy této spolupráce a jejich vliv na rozvoj městské části zámecké návrší v Litomyšli, současně navrhnout řešení přispívající k lepšímu fungování uvedené městské části. Praktická část tedy představuje kulturní instituce, které působí ve veřejném prostoru s hlubokým historickým odkazem a s místem s geniem loci. Provedené rozhovory s aktéry, představiteli institucí a s vedením města jsou hlavním pramenem pro tuto práci. Rozhovory byly zanalyzovány a následně bylo vytvořeno jejich zhodnocení a doporučení. Čtenáři by právě tímto měla být nastíněna problematika kulturního sektoru z více úhlů pohledu a umožní mu uvažovat o veřejném prostoru a kulturním působení v něm.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with the city of the 21st century. It addresses its issues mainly in the cultural sector but also the sector of urban public space. It also addresses urban development and cultural planning which is vital as well. Next, the participation of the inhabitants, without which culture would be meaningless in most cities. Last but not least, the types of cultural institutions set up – their functioning are described, which the author used to investigate and describes in the practical part. The aim of this thesis is to determine the possible cooperative relationship between cultural institutions in Litomysl and uncover issues of this cooperation and their impact on the development of urban district „Zamecke navrsi“ in Litomysl. The conclusion of this thesis are suggestions on how to improve the function of said urban district. The practical part presents cultural institutions that operate in a public space with a deep historical legacy and a place with a genius loci. The interviews conducted with actors, representatives of the institutions and the city administration are the main source for this thesis. The interviews were analysed and then an evaluation and recommendations were made. It is through this that the reader should be able to outline the issues of the cultural sector from multiple perspectives and to reflect on the public space and cultural action in it.
