Senior’s active way of live (Using example of Rest home Mšeno)

Abstract:

Předmětem této práce je problematika aktivního života seniorů, jejich aktivizace a aktivní participace na organizačních záležitostech v Domově seniorů Mšeno. V teoretické části je popsána demografická situace v ČR se zaměřením na různé oblasti života seniorů. Dále je zde zmíněna úloha státu v některých oblastech problematiky stárnutí populace a stáří a aktivity v seniorském věku. Praktická část se zaměřuje na oblast kvality poskytování služeb. Konkrétně na to, jak Domov seniorů Mšeno aplikuje do praxe Standardy kvality sociálních služeb zaměřené na posílení aktivní role uživatele sociální služby. Tato část se tedy zaměřuje na práva klientů tohoto domova, na náplň práce instruktorek sociální péče, jejich osobnostní a profesní předpoklady, kvalifikační požadavky, možnosti a úskalí jejich práce. Dále se zaměřuje na průběh spolupráce a výměnu informací s ostatními zaměstnanci domova a na průběh spolupráce s rodinami klientů a organizací, které se zapojují do aktivit.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is the issue of an active way of senior’s living, their activation and active participation in organizational matters at a Senior’s house at Mšeno. In the theoretical part of this thesis the demographical situation in a Czech republic focused on different issues of Senior’s lifes is described. The role of a state in a certain areas of an issue of an ageing of population and activity in a senior age is also mentioned. Practical part of the thesis is focused on an area of supplying services quality. More specifically it´s focused on a way how the Senior’s house at Mšeno is applying the Standards of a Quality of Social Services in use. So this part of the thesis is focused on rights of clients of this Senior’s house, the contents of the instructor’s work, personal and vocational prerequisites of instructors, their qualification claims, options and difficulties of their job. It is also focused on the process of cooperation and the information exchange with the other employees of the Senior’s house and also on the process of cooperation with the client’s families and organizations, that are involved in particular activities.
