Abstract:

Hlavním cílem mé bakalářské práce bylo na základě výpočtů určit, zda Česká republika v roce 2012 bude plnit Maastrichtská kritéria, která jsou podmínkou pro přijetí eura. Za pomoci časových řad a s využitím vybraného, dle mého názoru nejvhodnějšího, trendu jsem vypočítal hodnoty pro každé kritérium. V úvodní části práce jsem se zabýval celkovou historií Evropské unie až do okamžiku prvních zmínek o vzniku eurozóny. Na samotnou eurozónu jsem se zaměřil detailněji ? popsal jsem její vývoj, instituce, vznik jednotné měny a její současný stav. V druhé části jsem aplikoval teoretické znalosti na jednotlivá kritéria a s využitím programu Microsoft Excel jsem provedl výpočty dat, získaných z Českého statistického úřadu. Zpracovávaná data se vztahovaly ke statistikám jednotlivých kritérií v rámci jedenácti let. K výpočtu jsem využíval tři vybrané trendy, a to lineární, exponenciální a polynomický trend třetího stupně. V závěrečné části jsem prezentoval výsledky mých výpočtů. Nakonec jsem vyjádřil svůj vlastní postoj vůči Evropské unii a vstupu ČR do eurozóny.

Abstract:

The main aim of my thesis was on the basis of calculations to determine whether the Czech Republic in 2012 to fulfill the Maastricht criteria, which are a condition for euro adoption. Using time series and using selected, in my opinion the best, I calculate the trend values for each criterion. In the first part I dealt with the overall history of the European Union until the first mention of the creation of the euro area. In the euro area itself, I focused more detail - I described its development, institutions, the emergence of a single currency and its current status. In the second part, I applied the theoretical knowledge on various criteria, using Microsoft Excel, I made calculations of data obtained from the Czech Statistical Office. The processed data pertaining to the statistics of individual criteria within eleven years. I used to calculate the three selected trends, linear, exponential and polynomial trend in the third degree. In the final part, I presented the results of my calculations. Finally, I express my own attitude towards the European Union and accession to the eurozone.
