Anotace: Práce se snaží nastínit z pohledu sociologickeho a folklorního sicilské zásnuby 19. století Snaží se osvětlit některé sicilské zásnubní tradice a zvyky a porovnávat je se současností. Také se zaměřuje na markantní rozdíly současnosti s minulostí italských a sicilských zásnub.

Abstract: The thesis tries to scatch the Sicilian betrothal of the nineteenth century from the social and folcloristic points of view. It almost aspires to ouline some of the sicilian engagement traditions and habits comparing them with the present. The last object are the striking differences between the present and the past of the sicilian and italian betrothal.
