Abstract:

Absolventská práce popisuje, jak pedagogičtí pracovníci základních škol v Praze spolupracují s interkulturními pracovníky. Jaké jsou jejich zkušenosti s rodiči a žáky s odlišným mateřským jazykem, co brání spolupráci pedagogických pracovníků s interkulturními pracovníky, a co by mohlo být v budoucnu přínosné na spolupráci pedagogických pracovníků s interkulturními pracovníky. Teoretická část podává právní rámec problematiky žáků s odlišným mateřským jazykem, kdo jsou to žáci s odlišným mateřským jazykem a jaká jsou jejich specifika. Zabývá se také otázkou, co je to interkulturní práce a jakou roli má interkulturní pracovník. Praktická část se pokouší prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření zjistit, jak pedagogičtí pracovníci základních škol v Praze nahlížejí na spolupráci s interkulturními pracovníky, jaké jsou jejich zkušenosti s rodiči a žáky s odlišným mateřským jazykem, co jim brání ve spolupráci s interkulturními pracovníky, a jaký by mohl být v budoucnu přínos z této spolupráce. Dotazníkového šetření se zúčastnilo celkem 504 pedagogických pracovníků. Pedagogičtí pracovníci jsou mezi respondenty nejčastěji zastoupeni v roli učitele, asistenta pedagoga, vedoucího pedagogického pracovníka, speciálního pedagoga a vychovatele. Pedagogičtí pracovníci jsou otevřeni spolupráci s interkulturními pracovníky. Ve spolupráci jim brání především neinformovanost o nich. Domnívají se ale, že by spolupráce s nimi mohla být přínosná, zvláště při kontaktu s rodinou žáka s odlišným mateřským jazykem. Práce může být využita pedagogickými pracovníky základních škol a interkulturními pracovníky z organizací, které pomáhají migrantům, ke zlepšení vzájemné spolupráce.

Abstract:

This graduation thesis describes how teaching staff in primary schools in Prague cooperate with intercultural workers. It examines their experiences with parents and pupils with a different mother tongue, what hinders cooperation between teaching staff and intercultural workers, and what benefits this cooperation might bring in the future. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the legal framework for issues relating to pupils with a different mother tongue. It defines and describes pupils with a different mother tongue and their specific features. It also deals with the question of what intercultural work is and examines the role of intercultural workers. The practical part of the thesis attempts to find out, by means of a questionnaire survey, how teaching staff in primary schools in Prague view cooperation with intercultural workers, what are their experiences with parents and pupils with a different mother tongue, what are the obstacles to their cooperation with intercultural workers, and what benefit this cooperation might bring in the future. A total of 504 teaching staff took part in the questionnaire survey. The teaching staff most frequently represented among respondents were teachers, teaching assistants, education managers, special education teachers, and educators. Teaching staff are open to cooperation with intercultural workers. The main obstacle to working with them is a lack of information about them. However, they believe that cooperation with intercultural workers could be beneficial, especially in contacts with the families of pupils with a different mother tongue. The thesis can be used by teaching staff in primary schools and intercultural workers in organisations which help migrants, in order to improve the cooperation between them.
