Expansion of Kazakh Company to the Czech Market

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the expansion of the Kazakh construction company to the Czech market. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the factors that influence companies to go international, as well as possible barriers that can occur during the expansion process. As well, there is also the description of market entry strategies and processes of the selection of the target market and time when companies should enter the foreign market and on what scale. Further, the market entry modes are described. The practical part of this bachelor thesis includes the overviews of Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic, and also the company’s background. In the practical part, I use PESTLE analysis of the Czech Republic, Geert Hofstede’s Model, competitor analysis and SWOT analysis of the BI Group construction company in order to make the entry strategy proposal for the company. As result of this bachelor thesis, a joint venture entry mode is offered as the way to enter the Czech construction market. As well, I recommend the company to take a part in construction tendering of the Czech Republic.
