Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou trestu odnětí svobody, jako prostředku nápravy pachatele trestného činu. Cílem práce je zhodnotit efektivitu ukládání trestu odnětí svobody v kontextu penologické recidivy a naplnění jeho hlavního účelu. The thesis deals with the issue of imprisonment as a means of correction of the offender. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of the imposition of imprisonment in the context of penological recidivism and the fulfilment of its main purpose.
