The bachelor paper deals with the study of two works by two American authors who both belong to a group of writers called the Lost Generation. The aim of this paper is to examine to what extent the two works by Ernest Hemingway and Sherwood Anderson can be classified as works by authors who wrote in 1920's called lost generation. Bakalářská práce se bude zabývat studiem dvou děl dvou vybraných amerických literátů, kteří jsou oba řazeni k tzv. ztracené generaci. Cílem bakalářské práce je na základě analýzy konkrétních děl Ernesta Hemingwaye a Sherwooda Andersona ukázat míru příslušnosti těchto děl k tvorbě literátů působících ve 20. letech 20. století souhrnně nazývaných ztracená generace.
