Life world of women in boarding-house for seniors

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o životě žen v penzionu pro důchodce. Teoretická část je zaměřena na problematiku stáří, život v domově pro seniory {--} penzionu pro důchodce, pozornost je také věnována tomu, jak ženy vnímají důležité životní okamžiky ve stáří. Na základě poznatků z odborné literatury formuluje východiska pro praktickou část. Výzkum je zacílen na porozumění životnímu světu žen v penzionu pro důchodce, jak konstruují svoji identitu a vnímají své postavení a úlohu ženy ve společnosti. Při výzkumu byla použita metoda ohniskových skupin v konkrétním zařízení pro seniory. Cílem praktické části bylo vytvořit jeden velký příběh o tom, jak ženy definují svoji identitu a úlohu ve společnosti.

Abstract:

Master's thesis deals with the lives of women in the pension for the retired. The theoretical part is focused on the issue of age, lives in the home for the elderly - the pension for pensioners, attention is also paid to how women perceive the important moments of life in old age. On the basis of knowledge of the scientific literature formulates the basis for practical part. Research is targeted to the understanding of life the world of women in the pension for retired, construct their identity and perceive their position and role of women in society. The research was used method outbreaks groups in a particular facility for the elderly. The aim was to create a practical part of one big story about how women define their identity and role in society.
