The subject of this thesis is the process of Germany reunification in 1989-90 from the perspective of German - German home and foreign politics. The thesis objective is to verify the hypothesis of reunification not being optimally prepared and the consequences still being visible even after 17 years passed. Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá procesom zjednocovania Nemecka v rokoch 1989/90 z pohľadu nemecko-nemeckej vnútornej a zahraničnej politiky. Cieľom tejto práce je potvrdiť hypotézu, že zjednotenie nebolo optimálne pripravené a dôsledky unáhleného postupu sú viditeľné i po sedemnástich rokoch.
