Development of Grammatical Competence at Elementary School

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of grammatical competence in elementary school. The theoretical part focuses on communicative competence and defining linguistic and grammatical competence. Further deals with grammar, grammar teaching, and approaches and methods of teaching grammar. The practical part aims to examine if teachers develop grammar through an inductive or deductive approach. The research study is based on observation of several hours in the target elementary school.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rozvojem gramatické kompetence na prvním stupni základní školy. Teoretická část je zaměřena na komunikační kompetence a vydefinování pojmů lingvistická kompetence a gramatická kompetence. Dále se zabývá gramatikou, výukou gramatiky, přístupy a metodami výuky gramatiky. Praktická část má za cíl zjistit, zdali učitelé rozvíjí gramatiku induktivním či deduktivním přístupem. Výzkumné šetření je provedeno formou pozorování několika hodin na prvním stupni vybrané základní školy.
