Brněnský masiv se skládá ze tří naprosto rozdílných geologických komplexů. Nejstarším členem je metabazitová zóna, která reprezentuje ofiolitový komplex a rozděluje brněnský masiv na východní a západní granodioritovou oblast. Abstract:
The Brno batholith consists of three distinctly different geological complexes. The oldest member is the metabasite zone, which represents ophiolite complex and divides the Brno batholith on the eastern and western granodiorite areas.
