Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá hodnocením investice do fotovoltaické elektrárny. V současné době dochází ke změně legislativní úpravy poskytování státní podpory při výrobě energie z obnovitelných zdrojů, jejímž předmětem je mimo jiné snížení výkupních cen, čímž toto téma nabývá na aktuálnosti a dává prostor k analýzám a porovnáním různých scénářů vývoje. Teoreticko-metodologická část obsahuje popis fází investičního procesu a struktury podnikatelského plánu, poskytuje přehled teoretických poznatků o finančních kritériích hodnocení efektivnosti investic a shrnuje postupy při stanovení peněžních toků. Úvodní pasáž aplikační části zahrnuje charakteristiku projektu včetně popisu vstupních parametrů podnikatelského záměru. Následuje finanční plán obsahující plánové finanční výkazy na celou dobu životnosti projektu. Klíčovou část práce tvoří hodnocení efektivnosti investičního projektu pomocí dynamických ukazatelů ekonomické efektivnosti, jako jsou čistá současná hodnota, vnitřní výnosové procento, index rentability a prostá a diskontovaná doba návratnosti. Tato kritéria jsou aplikována na hodnocení z pohledu projektu jako celku, z pohledu vlastníků a pro kontrolu finanční stability projektu při využití cizího kapitálu. V závěru aplikační části je provedeno vyhodnocení vlivu snížení výkupní ceny na efektivnost projektu.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the efficiency of an investment into a photovoltaic power plant. The photovoltaic business in the Czech Republic experienced a rapid expansion during the last two years. Currently a new legislation act amending the feed in rates is being prepared which should enable to reduce the rates to an extent that would bring the projects back to a regular profitability. This makes the photovoltaic’s an up-to-date subject and brings an opportunity to analyze and compare different scenarios of the development in this area. The theoretical part describes the phases of the investment process as well as the structure of a business plan, gives a review of the theoretical findings about the methods of investments´ efficiency evaluation and summarizes the steps leading to the determination of the cash-flow. The opening part of the application part contains the characteristics of the project including the inputs of the business plan followed by the financial plan containing the planned financial statements for the whole economic life of the project. The key part of the thesis is the evaluation of the investment efficiency using the standard methods of the discounted cash flow analysis – net present value, internal rate of return, profitability index and discounted payback period. These methods were also applied from the point of view of the partners to determine the value of their contribution. The financial stability of the project was reviewed taking into account financing through a bank loan. The concluding part of the thesis tackles the impact of the feed in tariffs decrease on the project´s efficiency. The discounted cash flow analysis was performed for different levels of the tariffs´ reduction followed by a comparison with the current values.
