Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou domácí a ústavní péče o děti s těžkým zdravotním postižením. Jejím cílem je charakterizovat specifika domácí a ústavní péče o děti s těžkým zdravotním postižením, a dále zmapovat situaci v rodinách a ústavech, vychovávajících dítě s těžkým zdravotním postižením a vliv tohoto postižení na rodinu. Práce je zpracována ve dvou částech, teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část bakalářské práce s pomocí odborných publikací, internetových zdrojů a dalších pramenů klasifikuje osoby se zdravotním postižením, popisuje historický vývoj přístupu společnosti k lidem s postižením, možný vliv postižení dítěte na rodinu a s tím související reakci a proces akceptace postižení dítěte rodiči. Praktická část pomocí průzkumného dotazníkového šetření zjišťuje, do jaké míry je život rodiny dítěte s těžkým zdravotním postižením a jejich jednotlivých členů touto skutečností ovlivněn. Dále zjišťuje názory odborníků na přístup rodičů k dětem, které jsou vychovávány mimo nebo v rodině a na současný trend v edukaci těchto dětí. Opatření, navrhovaná v závěru bakalářské práce, směřují ke zlepšení informovanosti rodin, vychovávajících dítě s těžkým zdravotním postižením, o možnostech pomoci a podpory se strany státu a neziskových organizací, k optimalizaci spolupráce ústavů a rodin dětí, žijících v ústavu a v neposlední řadě směřují do oblasti náhradní rodinné péče o děti s těžkým zdravotním postižením.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with home and institutional care for seriously disabled children. It´s aim is to define specifics of care for these children, to describe situation in families and institutions educating a seriously disabled child, and impact of disability on a family. There are two parts of the thesis theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of bachelor thesis, with help of specialized publications, internet and other resources, classifies disabled people, describes historical evolution in approach to these people, mighty impact of disability on a family and consequent reaction and process of disability acceptance by parents. The practical part, using a survey, investigates the extent to which is influenced life of individuals and life of family with seriously disabled child. Furthermore it investigates the expert's opinions on parents´ attitude to children, who are educated inside or outside of family, and on current trend in education of these children. Suggestions at the end of the thesis aim at improving family awareness, at possibilities of state and non-profit organizations help and support, at optimalization of institutions and children's´ families cooperation, and finally at foster family care for seriously disabled children.
