Film culture in Šumperk in the years 1959-1989

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Šumperská filmová kultura v letech 1959-1989 mapuje možnosti filmové zábavy, jež se naskytovaly obyvatelům města Šumperka v třiceti předrevolučních létech. Pojímá komplexně filmovou kulturou a věnuje se proto nejen historii fungování místních kin Svět a Oko, ale i působení filmových klubů, filmovým festivalům a filmovým přehlídkám. Zvláštní místo je v textu vyhrazeno problematice sovětského filmu v Šumperku a možnostem filmového vyžití pro děti a mládež. Text neopomíjí ani šumperský filmový život přesahující hranice biografů, který připomínají části Šumpersko a Šumperští ve filmu a Filmy v Šumperku nejen za zdmi městských biografů. Studie vyplňuje prázdné místo na poli uměnovědného bádání, neboť tématika šumperské filmové kultury představovala doposud oblast místními historiky i uměnovědci opomíjenou. Text tak přináší příležitost nahlédnout do filmové kulturní minulosti města Šumperka, jejíž poznání představuje přínos nejen pro jeho obyvatele, ale i pro uměnovědce zabývající se studiem kultury naší země obecně.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis Film culture in Šumperk in the years 1959-1989 maps out the possibilities of filmed entertainment, which offered its citizens Šumperk in thisthirty prerevolutionary years. It depicts the complex film culture and is therefore not only devoted to the history of local the cinema Svět and the cinema Oko, but the effect of film clubs, film festivals and film parades. A special place is reserved in the text of the issue of Soviet film in Sumperk of film and of film acitivities for children and youth. The text does not omit Šumperkcinematic life beyond boundaries of cinema, which often resemble Šumperk and residents Šumperk in film and The movies in Šumperk not only within the walls of the city cinemas. The study fills an empty space on the field of art historical research as topics Šumperk film culture area now represented by local historians and art historians neglected. The text provides the opportunity to see the film Šumperk cultural history of the town, whose knowledge is beneficial not only for its residents, but also for art historians engaged in studying the culture of our country in general.
