The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the reign of one King, James VI and James I, who was a ruler of two countries on the basis of found facts and find out if these reigns differed and if he was more successful in any of them. Cílem této bakalářské práce je na základě zjištěných faktů porovnat vládu jednoho krále, který vládl na dvou územích: Jakuba VI, krále Skotska a Jakuba I, krále Anglie a zjistit, zda se tyto vlády lišily a zda byl v některé z nich Jakub úspěšnější.
