The Promotion of the Integrated Transportation System in the Liberec Region

Abstract:

Předmětem mé diplomové práce s názvem Propagace integrovaného dopravního systému v Libereckém kraji je provedení praktické analýzy stávajících způsobů marketingové komunikace společnosti KORID LK, s.r.o., která je koordinátorem dopravy v Libereckém kraji, a navrhnutí nových propagačních prostředků, které by vedly ke zlepšení vnímání veřejné dopravy cestujícími. Tato práce nejprve teoreticky popisuje obecné marketingové pojmy, způsoby propagace a nástroje marketingové komunikace. Stručně je zde popsaná také teorie integrovaných dopravních systému. Dále jsou uvedeny výsledky průzkumu prováděného za účelem získání názorů od cestujících využívajících veřejnou dopravu. Bylo provedeno srovnání způsobů propagace vybraných integrovaných dopravních systémů v České republice a zahraničí. V závěrečné části jsou popsány konkrétní návrhy na nové způsoby propagace integrovaného dopravního systému v Libereckém kraji.

Abstract:

The aim of my diploma thesis called The Promotion of Integrated Transportation System in The Liberec Region is to analyse the current methods of marketing communication of KORID LK, company, which is the coordinator of transport in the Liberec region, and to suggest new methods of promotion which would lead to improvement of passengers' perception of public transport. First, this thesis theorethically describes general marketing terms, ways of promotion and instruments of marketing communication. The theory of integrated transport system is also very briefly described here. Next, the results of the research done in order to gain the passengers' (people who use the public transport) opinion are introduced here. Also the comparison of ways of promotion of chosen integrated transport system in the Czech Republic and in foreign countries was made. In conclusion, the particular proposals to new ways of promotion of integrated transport system are described there.
