Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou inscenace Curlew River Jiřího Heřmana z roku 2005. V první kapitole práce je vyložen koncept „umění umírání“ z knihy Opera: The Art of Dying Lindy a Michaela Hutcheonových z roku 2004 a poté aplikován na koncepci inscenace Curlew River. The bachelor thesis deals with analysis of Jiří Heřman’s staging of Curlew River from year 2005. The first chapter explains the concept of the "art of dying" from the book Opera: The Art of Dying by Linda and Michael Hutcheon from 2004 and then applied to the concept of the production Curlew River.
