Mathematical games and competitions in primary school education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Rozvíjení zájmů žáků o matematiku na I. stupni ZŠ “ se zabývá možnostmi, jak zvýšit zájem o matematiku na prvním stupni ZŠ. Týká se zkvalitnění a zpestření hodin matematiky. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části. První část je teoretická. Zabývá se významem matematiky v životě člověka, hledáním příčin nezájmu o matematiku, věnuje se metodám a formám práce v matematice, vhodné motivaci. Druhá část obsahuje zásobník didaktických her a ukázkové přípravy na hodiny matematiky pro 1.-3. ročník prvního stupně, projekty. Cílem diplomové práce je ukázat, že hodiny matematiky mohou být pro žáky zajímavé a pestré v souladu s naplněním výukových cílů ŠVP. Ukázat, že i hodiny matematiky mohou být motivující a hravé tak, že se na ně děti budou těšit a s pomocí vhodných didaktických metod a způsobů vedení hodin si pak vytvoří kladný vztah k matematice, který jim přetrvá po celý jejich následující život.

Abstract:

Diploma „ The development of pupil´s interest in mathematic on the first stage of primary school“ deals with the possibilities how to develop the interest about mathemathic on the first stage of primary school It is concerning of upgrading and diversification lessons of mathemathic. My work is dividend into two main parts. First part is theoretic. It deal with the sence of mathematic in man life, finding reasons of insensibility about mathemathic, methods and forms of work in mathemathic and suitable motivation.. Second part consains a stock book of didactic games and specimen preparations of mathemathic lessons for 1.-3. grades of the first level and projects. The aim of diploma is show that the lessons of mathematic can be interesting and multifarious for children consistent with fillings of educutional aims ŠVP. Show that lessons of mathematic can be motivating and playful and children will enjoy them. They win a positive relation to mathematic with help of suitable didactic methods and ways of lesson direction
