Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o manažerech, jejich práci a samozřejmě jejich rozvoji. Je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část je zaměřena charakteristiku manažerů, manažerské činnosti a požadavky kladené na tyto pracovníky, dále na jejich rozvoj a vzdělávání, konkrétně potřeby a priority a v neposlední řadě i možné metody vzdělávání. V rámci empirické části byl proveden kvalitativní průzkum prostřednictvím metody polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pěti manažery. Práce obsahuje analýzu dat získaných tímto průzkumem. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit rozdíly mezi teoretickými poznatky a zkušenostmi z praxe.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on managers as an entity; it analyzes the specific types of work/duties managers’ jobs involve, as well as the education and training as necessary tools for enhancing their work skills. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical one focuses on managers’ characteristics, duties, and furthermore their needs and priorities when it comes to their own development and professional growth. In the second, empirical, part, a qualitative research through semi-structured interviews took place, involving five managers with various backgrounds. The thesis includes an analysis of the data gathered during this research. My main focus was to find the differences between the theoretical managers’ duties (those found in their job descriptions) and the duties actually applicable in praxis
