The prey catching and its phases by the spider family Uloboridae

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci jsou popsány techniky lovu pavouků čeledi pakřižákovití (Uloboridae), kteří postupným vývojem ztratili jedové žlázy, a proto při lovu kořisti používají unikátní postupy, při nichž využívají hedvábná vlákna včetně vláken kribelových. Z tohoto důvodu je do této práce zahrnut popis snovacích orgánů včetně kribela a kalamistra. Součástí práce je i krátká experimentální část, v níž je popsáno vlastní pozorování pakřižáka chluponohého (Uloborus plumipes). V teoretické části tedy čtenář může nalézt i informace o tomto druhu pavouka, a také o celé čeledi Uloboridae.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis are described the hunting techniques of spiders from the family uloboridae (Uloboridae), who lost the poison glands in a gradual development, and therefore, while hunting prey, they use unique methods in which use silk threads including cribellate silk. For this reason, a description of the silk-producing organs including the cribellum and the calamistrum is included in this work. Part of the thesis is also a experimental part, which describes own observation of the Uloborus plumipes. In the theoretical part, the reader can also find information about this species of spider, as well as about the whole family Uloboridae.
