Blue ocean strategy in the field of office cleaning services on the Prague market

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá Strategií modrého oceánu ve vztahu k úklidovým službám na pražském trhu. Konkrétně se jedná o úklid kancelářských prostor. Hlavním přínosem práce je analýza úrovně nabídky a požadavků poptávky prostřednictvím hloubkových rozhovorů, realizovaných se zákazníky a poskytovateli této služby. Na základě analýzy rozhovorů je v rámci této práce sestavena hodnotová křivka trhu. Tento nástroj napomáhá k odhalení, zda je na pražském trhu prostor pro vytvoření modrého oceánu v rámci úklidu kancelářských prostor, nebo zda nabídka plně uspokojuje poptávku.

Abstract:

This thesis addresses the Blue ocean strategy in relation to cleaning services in the Prague market, specifically concerning the cleaning of office spaces. The main contribution of this work is the analysis of the level of supply and demand requirements through in-depth interviews conducted with customers and providers of this service. Based on the analysis of the interviews, a value curve of the market is constructed within this thesis. This tool helps to reveal whether there is room in the Prague market to create a blue ocean within the realm of office cleaning, or whether the current offerings fully satisfy the demand
