Abstract:
This thesis deals with approximation of functions by polynomials. In first part we introduce a polynomial interpolation. The main part describes interpolation by trigonometric polynomials and the error of this type of interpolation. At the end we present a least squares method by trigonometric polynomials and we compare approximation by this method with the interpolation. The thesis contains examples …more

V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme aproximaci funkcí pomocí polynomů. Úvodem se seznámíme s~polynomiální interpolací. Jádro této práce popisuje interpolaci pomocí trigonometrických polynomů a odvození tvaru chyby při této interpolaci. V poslední části se zabýváme odhadem trigonometrickýmy polynomy pomocí metody nejmenších čtverců a porovnáváme tento odhad s trigonometrickým interpolačním polynomem …more
