The Evaluation of Creditworthiness of the Applicant for a Loan from the Bank

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá metodologií zhodnocení bonity žadatele o úvěr z pohledu banky. Pro účely práce byl zvolen středně velký podnik zabývající se strojírenstvím se sídlem na Vysočině. Práce se rozdělena do pěti částí, v první části je vymezení základních pojmů týkající se bankovnictví, úvěrů, úvěrového rizika, druhá část je o finanční analýze, poměrových ukazatelích, třetí část je věnována bonitním a bankrotním modelům, čtvrtá části je věnována ratingu a scoringu. V závěrečné páté části jsou získané poznatky aplikovány na existující firmě Pacovské strojírny, a.s., kde je provedena finanční analýza a vyhodnocení její bonit

Abstract:

This thesis describes the metodology of assessment of the creditworthiness of loan applicants from the perspective of the bank. For the purposes of work, was selected a medium-sized enterprise engaged ih the engineering, based in the Vysočina Region. The work is devided into five parts, the first part of the definition of basic concepts related to banking, credit, credit risk, the sekond part is about financial analysis, financial ratios, third part is devoted to creditworthy and bankrupcy models, the fourth part is devoted to rating and scoring. In the final fifth part acquired knowledge is applied to an existing company Pacovské strojírny, Ltd., which is a financial analysis and evaluation of its creditworthiness.
