V posledních letech je kladen velký důraz na výzkum struktury DNA, zejména pak ve spojitosti s léčbou různých onemocnění. Guaninové kvadruplexy (G4) jsou typ sekundární struktury nukleových kyselin vyskytující se jak v DNA, tak i v RNA. In recent years, great emphasis has been placed on DNA structure research, especially in conjunction with the treatment of several illnesses. Guanine quadruplexes (G4) are the type of nucleic acid secondary structure which normally occur both in DNA and in RNA.
