Práce je zaměřena na vinařství ve Francii. V jednotlivých kapitolách práce je popsán vývoj francouzského vinařství od dávné historie až po současnost, dále jsou zde detailně popsány vinařské oblasti z hlediska geografické polohy, typů půd, podnebních podmínek či odrůd typických pro daný region.
