Application of the Smart City Concept for the Development in the Municipality Bystřice pod Hostýnem

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je udržitelný rozvoj a zlepšení kvality života obyvatel města Bystřice pod Hostýnem za pomocí využití konceptu Smart City. V rámci řešení problematiky byla zvolena SWOT analýza a dotazníkové šetření. Součástí je i analýza chytrých řešení. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá především vymezením konceptu Smart City a také možnostmi jeho veřejného financování. Dále jsou zde představena chytrá města, nacházející se v České republice a zahraničí, využívající koncept chytrých měst. V praktické části byla provedena sociálně ekonomická analýza města Bystřice pod Hostýnem a současný stav implementace konceptu Smart City ve městě. V závěru práce jsou navržena opatření na rozšíření implementace konceptu Smart City na základě výsledků dotazníkového šetření a SWOT analýzy.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the sustainable development and improvement of the quality of life of the residents of Bystřice pod Hostýnem using the Smart City concept. A SWOT analysis and a survey were chosen as the most suitable research tools. It also includes the analysis of smart solutions. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part mainly deals with the definition of the Smart City concept as well as the possibilities of its public financing. Furthermore, the thesis includes an overview of the concept used by smart cities in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the practical part, a socio-economic analysis of the city of Bystřice pod Hostýnem and the current status of the implementation of the Smart City concept in the city was performed. At the end of the thesis, measures are proposed to expand the implementation of the Smart City concept based on the results of the questionnaire survey and SWOT analysis.
