The structure of noun phrases in English and Spanish
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the position of adjectives within the noun phrase in English and Spanish. The contrastive analysis carried out on this subject shows the principles and tendencies related to the number of adjectives within a noun phrase, their position and their translation from English to Spanish and viceversa.
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá pozicí přídavných jmen ve jmenné frázi v rámci anglického a španělského jazyka. Výsledkem provedené kontrastivní analýzy je definice principů souvisejících s počtem přídavných jmen ve jmenné frázi a jejich umístěním a charakteristika tendencí, které se uplatňují při překladu jmenných frází z angličtiny do španělštiny a naopak.
