Influence of different ways of setting up crops of cereal stands on their structure and yield

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá hodnocením vlivu různých způsobů zakládání porostů pšenice seté (Triticum aestivum L.) a ječmene setého (Hordeum vulgare L.) na výnos a strukturu porostu. Hodnoceny byly jednotlivé výnosotvorné ukazatele, výnos zrna (t.ha-1), počet klasů na m2, počet vzešlých rostlin na m2 a hmotnost tisíce zrn (g). Hodnoceny byly tři varianty zpracování půdy, klasické zpracování půdy, minimalizační zpracování a přímé setí. Každá varianta zpracování půdy byla provedena ve čtyřech opakování ve variantě s aplikací a bez aplikace fungicidu v průběhu vegetace porostu, u pšenice byl zohledněn i vliv předplodiny vojtěšky a kukuřice. Data byla získána na polní pokusné stanici Mendelovy univerzity v Brně na pozemku Školního zemědělského podniku Žabčice na polním pokusu AGRO 2. Z výsledků bylo zjištěno, že pozitivní vliv na výnos pšenice mělo v roce 2022 klasické zpracování půdy, a naopak nejnižší výnos byl zjištěn u technologie přímého setí. V roce 2023 byl výnos pšenice po vojtěšce nejvyšší u varianty přímého setí. Naopak po kukuřici byl nejvyšší výnos zaznamenán u klasického zpracování půdy. U ječmene bylo podobně vysokého výnosu dosaženo ve variantách klasického a minimalizačního zpracování půdy, naopak výrazně nižšího výnosu dosáhla technologie přímého setí. U počtu klasů na m2 nelze jednoznačně říci, která varianta zpracování půdy má pozitivní nebo negativní vliv. Lze však říci, že většina variant vykazuje vyšší počet klasů na m2 tam, kde bylo dosaženo nižších výnosů, což by mohlo souviset s výběrem odrůdy se střední a vyšší hmotností tisíce zrn. Nejvyššího počtu vzešlých rostlin pšenice bylo dosaženo u minimalizačního zpracování půdy, bez velkého rozdílů bylo méně rostlin u varianty s přímým setím. Výrazně nižšího počtu dosáhlo klasické zpracování s orbou. U hodnocení hmotnosti tisíce zrn nelze jednoznačně určit, která technologie zpracování půdy má pozitivní vliv, u většiny variant bylo ale nejvyšší hmotnosti tisíce zrn dosaženo u minimalizačního zpracování půdy.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the influence of different methods of establishing stands of sown wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and sown barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) on the yield and structure of the stand. Individual yield-producing indicators, grain yield (t.ha-1), number of ears per m2, number of emerged plants per m2 and weight of a thousand grains (g) were evaluated. Three tillage variants were evaluated, classical tillage, minimization tillage and direct sowing. Each variant of soil treatment was carried out in four repetitions in the variant with and without application of fungicide during the vegetation of the stand, in the case of wheat the influence of the pre-crop of alfalfa and corn was also taken into account. The data were obtained at the field experiment station of the Mendel University in Brno, on the grounds of the Žabčice School of Agriculture at the AGRO 2 field experiment. The results showed that classic tillage had a positive effect on the yield of wheat in 2022, and on the contrary, the lowest yield was found with direct sowing technology. In 2023, the yield of wheat after alfalfa was the highest in the direct sowing variant. On the other hand, after corn, the highest yield was recorded with classic tillage. In the case of barley, a similarly high yield was achieved in variants of classic and minimization tillage, on the contrary, a significantly lower yield was achieved by direct sowing technology. Regarding the number of ears per m2, it is not possible to say unequivocally which variant of tillage has a positive or negative effect. However, it can be said that most varieties show a higher number of ears per m2 where lower yields were obtained, which could be related to the selection of a variety with a medium and higher thousand grain weight. The highest number of emerged wheat plants was achieved in the minimization tillage, without much difference, there were fewer plants in the variant with direct sowing. A significantly lower number was achieved by classical processing with plowing. When evaluating the weight of a thousand grains, it is not possible to clearly determine which tillage technology has a positive effect, but for most variants, the highest weight of a thousand grains was achieved with minimal tillage.
