Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměří na identifikaci osob z pohledu forenzní antropologie. Konceptuálním rámcem práce bude tzv. "profil strukturální zranitelnosti" (Structural Vulnerability Profile - SVP), což je modifikovaný koncept z oblasti medicínské antropologie, jenž se stává v současnosti důležitým aspektem vedle tradičně odhadovaného "biologického profilu". Práce je stavěna na rešerši z odborné literatury týkající se daného téma. Nejdříve se budu věnovat popisu různých oblastí a technik s nimi spojenými při identifikaci osob ve forenzní antropologii jako jsou: RTG záznamy, zubní a další zdravotní dokumentace, portrétní identifikace či podpůrná metoda superprojekce, a poté dané techniky patřičně rozvedu. Cílem této práce je představit různé techniky používané ve forenzní antropologii a uvést u každé její silné a slabé stránky s popisem případů, kde jednotlivé techniky uspěly či selhaly.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis will examine the identification of individuals from the perspective of forensic anthropology. The thesis's conceptual framework will be the so-called "Structural Vulnerability Profile" (SVP), a modified concept from medical anthropology. This aspect, in addition to the traditionally estimated "biological profile," is becoming increasingly important. The work is based on a review of specialised literature related to the given topic. Initially, the thesis will address the description of various areas and techniques associated with the identification of individuals in forensic anthropology. These include X-ray records, dental and other medical documentation, facial identification, and the supportive method of superimposition. The thesis will then elaborate on these techniques accordingly. The objective of this study is to present a comprehensive overview of the various techniques employed in forensic anthropology, accompanied by an analysis of their respective strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, illustrative case studies will be presented to illustrate the efficacy and limitations of these techniques in practice.
