Rumburk Museum from 1881 to present

Abstract:

Práce informuje o literatuře k muzeologii a k muzeu Rumburk. Další část práce seznamuje s historií a současností muzea. Historie muzea je započata seznámením s Humboldtovým spolkem, který stál u založení muzea a pokračuje do roku 1997, kdy došlo k znovuotevření muzea s novými expozicemi. Další roky od roku 1998 až po rok 2010 jsou zpracovány z hlediska výstavní a přednáškové činnosti. Podstatnou kapitolou je srovnání historie a činnosti muzea Rumburk s muzeem Východních Čech v Hradci Králové. Seznamuje také s historií muzea Východních Čech v Hradci Králové a srovnání s Rumburským muzeem ukazuje rozdíly mezi prácí a činností velkého muzea (muzea Východních Čech) s malým muzeem (muzeum Rumburk). Nakonec práce seznamuje s osobnostmi, které se významně zapsaly do historie muzea ? Augustem Stradalem, Augustem Frindem, Rudolfem Demelem a Erwinem Görlachem.

Abstract:

My final thesis informs about literature that concerns museology and the Rumburk museum. Next part of my thesis is dedicated to history and present of the museum. The history part is started with Humbolds fellowship, which stood at the foundry of the museum and continues to year 1997, the year that reopening of the museum was issued and new expositions were added. Next few years from 1998 till 2010 are narrowed on displaying and lecturing acts. One of main capitols is comparing of history and activities Rumburk museum with museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové that shows differences between activities of great museum (museum of Eastern Bohemia) and small museum (museum in Rumburk). At last but not least are figures that were inevitably linked with history of the museum - August Stradal, August Frind, Rudolf Demel and Erwin Görlach.
