E-learning as a tool for adult education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá e-learningem jako nástrojem vzdělávání dospělých. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou objasněny základní pojmy z oblasti e-learningu, ucelená definice tohoto pojmu z několika úhlů, historie a vývoj e-learningu. Dále jsou zde popsány výhody a nevýhody této formy vzdělávání, její principy, elektronické standardy, e-learningové úrovně a formy, studijní opory, možnosti využití e-learningu a další pojmy, které s e-learningem souvisí. Teoretická část se rovněž zabývá pedagogicko-didaktickým aspekty e-learningu (didaktickými zásadami, cíli a teoriemi učení), věnuje se účastníkům e-learningového vzdělávacího procesu a vzděláváním dospělých. V praktické části je popsán kvantitativní výzkum, jehož cílem je zjistit přístup dospělých k e-learningu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with e-learning as a tool for adult education. The thesis itself is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of e-learning, comprehensive definition of this concept from several angles, history and development of e-learning. It further describes the advantages and disadvantages of this form of education, its principles, standards, electronic, e-learning levels and forms, study support, the possibility of using e-learning and other terms which are related to e-learning. The theoretical part also deals with pedagogical-didactic aspects of e-learning didactic principles, objectives and learning theories), focusing the participants of e-learning training process and adult education. The practical part describes the quantitative research that aims to identify access to e-learning to adult population.
