Legal aspects of setting up a travel agency and business plan

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vstupu na trh cestovního ruchu, konkrétně právními překážkami, kterým musí čelit každý podnikatel, pokud se rozhodne založit cestovní kancelář. Práce popisuje podnikatelský záměr na založení cestovní kanceláře zaměřenou na kombinaci cyklistických a surfařských balíčků, což je unikátní produkt, který na českém trhu zatím není vůbec zastoupen. V teoretické části jsou popsány všechny pojmy související s významem cestovního ruchu pro ekonomiku země a všechny právní podmínky, které jsou pro podnikatele výzvou. Jsou zde rozebrány zákony, předpisy a povinnosti cestovních kanceláří. Cílem této práce je poskytnout přehled o této problematice a důkladně ji prozkoumat, následně pak využít všech získaných informací k sestavení reálného podnikatelského plánu, který může potenciální investor využít. Poslední částí je ekonomické zhodnocení tohoto modelového podnikatelského záměru a posouzení, zda by se cestovní kancelář udržela v současných podmínkách na českém trhu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of entering the tourism market, specifically the legal obstacles that every entrepreneur must face if he decides to establish a travel agency. This thesis describes a business plan for establishing a travel agency focusing on a combination of cycling and surfing packaged tours, a unique product that is not yet represented on the Czech market at all. The theoretical part describes all the concepts related to the importance of tourism for the country's economy and all the legal conditions that challenge the entrepreneur. The laws, regulations, and responsibilities of travel agencies are examined. This thesis aims to provide an overview of this issue and review it thoroughly, then use all the information obtained to set up a realistic business plan that a potential investor can use. The last part is an economic evaluation of this model business plan and whether the travel agency would be sustained under current conditions in the Czech market.
