Předložená bakalářská práce má za úkol představit vybraná díla (The Dharma Bums, Naked Lunch) dvou prozaiků patřících do beatnické generace, Jacka Kerouaca a Williama S. Burroughse, kteří svou tvorbou ovlivnili pohled na moderní poválečnou americkou literaturu, a uvede názory obou autorů na situaci ve společnosti. Abstract:
This work's primary task is to present selected works (The Dharma Bums, Naked Lunch)of two novelists belonging to the Beat Generation, Jack Kerouac and William S.Burroughs, whose works influenced the modern view of postwar American literature.
