Traffic-Security Camera and Information System (DBKIS) in Zlín and its Influence on Traffic Safety

Abstract:

Jednou ze základních potřeb společnosti a každého jednotlivce je pocit jistoty bezpečí. V dnešní době napjatých mezinárodních vztahů, moderních technologií a nových trendů, je tato potřeba čím dál tím více žádanější. Stejně tomu tak je i v oblasti dopravního provozu. Čím dál tím více řidičů páchá dopravní přestupky a úkony spadající do oblasti trestné čin-nosti. Právě takové chování řidičů ohrožuje nejen samotné řidiče ale také všechny ostatní účastníky dopravní komunikace. Práce se zabývá teorií bezpečnostních kamer zajišťujících úsekové měření vozidel a na příkladu systému DBKIS ve Zlíně také demonstruje jejich případný dopad na dopravní bezpečnost. Systém úsekového měření je totiž v dnešní době považován za jednu z nejúčinnějších metod regulace chování řidičů.

Abstract:

One of the basic needs of society and every individual is a feeling of assured security. In recent times of tense international relations, modern technology a new trends is this need more so requested. The same way it is in the field of public safety. Traffic infringements and acts of law violation are committed by increasing amount of drivers. This kind of driv-er behaviour endangers not only the driver himself but the rest of participants of traffic communication as well. This thesis deals with the theory of security cameras that enables section measurement of transport vehicles. On the case of DBKIS system in Zlín I will demonstrate the possible impact of security cameras on traffic security, for nowadays is the section measurement system considered to be one of the most effective methods of driver behaviour regulations.
