The incidence of bulying at seconddegree in alternative school system

Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zaměřila na mapování problematiky šikany v alternativních školních systémech. Kvantitativní výzkumné šetření proběhlo ve čtyřech alternativních školách ve Středočeském kraji. Žáci (N = 70) druhého stupně vyplnili dotazník Student School Survey, který byl pro účely této práce přeložen do českého jazyka. Analýzou získaných dat bylo zjištěno, že projevy šikany se ve vybraných školách objevují pouze ojediněle. Statisticky signifikantní rozdíly mezi pohlavími byly zjištěny pouze u efektu přihlížejícího, kdy byli chlapci častějšími přihlížejícími potenciálním projevům šikany. Nicméně chlapci skórovali v podprůměrných hodnotách na této škále a nelze je tedy označit za přihlížející šikany. Tuto práci lze považovat za úvodní sondu do problematiky šikany v alternativních školních systémech v České republice, která může sloužit jako podklad pro další výzkumy.

Abstract:

This master's thesis focused on mapping the issue of bullying in alternative school systems. The quantitative research was conducted in four alternative schools in the Central Bohemia Region. Second grade students completed the Student School Survey, which was translated into Czech for the purpose of this work. It was found out by the analysis that the bullying manifestations in selected schools appear only sporadically. Statistically significant differences between sexes were found only by the onlooker effect, when boys were more likely to look at the potential manifestations of bullying. However, the boys scored below average on this scale and cannot be considered as bullying. This work can be considered as an introductory probe of the bullying in alternative school systems in the Czech Republic, which can serve as a basis for further research.
