Práce se zabývá analýzou fenoménu námořního pirátství, zejména pak participací Severoatlantické aliance při jeho řešení. Autor se soustřeďuje na oblast okolo Somálska, Adenského zálivu a západní části Indického oceánu. Abstract:
The thesis analyzes the phenomenon of maritime piracy, particulary with regard to the involvement of The North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The author focuses on the area around Somalia, the Gulf of Aden and the western Indian Ocean.
