Práce se zabývá rozdělením nejčastěji používaných vozidlových třecích brzd, druhy brzdových soustav, třecími materiály a brzdovými kapalinami. Nadále práce obsahuje porovnání dvou základních typů vozidlových třecích brzd a jejich provozní problematiku v určitých daných oblastech. The work deals with distribution of the most commonly used vehicle friction brakes, types of brake systems, friction materials and brake fluids. Then the work includes a comparison of the two basic types of vehicle friction brakes and operational issues in specified areas.
