Abstract:

Tato práce má za cíl popsat kontakty, průniky a paralely mezi epickou tradicí mluvčích altajských jazyků v oblasti Střední Asie a Sibiře a jejich indoevropských (zejména íránských) sousedů na příkladu onomastiky epického hrdiny. Zároveň hledá odpověď na otázku, jaký vztah mají v eposech etnik hovořících altajskými jazyky a jejich indoevropských sousedů propria epických hrdinů k jejich charakteru a mytologické roli. Využívá k tomu historickosrovnávací metodu. Svým oborovým zařazením stojí tato práce na pomezí onomastiky a srovnávací mytologie

Abstract:

This dissertation thesis aims to describe the contacts, intersections and parallels between epic tradition of Altaic language speakers in the Central Asia and Siberia and their Indo-European (especially Iranian) neighbors on the example of the onomastics of the epic hero. The thesis also looking for an answer to the question of how the names of epic heroes in Altaic and Indo-European epic poetry relate to their character and mythological role. It uses to do this historical comparison method. With its professional classification this work stands on the border of onomastics and comparative mythology
