Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je Česká violoncellová literatura přelomu 19. a 20. století. Práce je rozdělena do šesti samostatných kapitol. První kapitola se věnuje violoncellu. Představuje violu da gamba jako předchůdkyni violoncella, dále provází původem a historií nástroje, zařazuje jej do skupiny ostatních hudebních nástrojů a popisuje jednotlivé způsoby hry. Závěr první kapitoly je věnován přehledu nejznámějších skladeb zkomponovaných pro violoncello od období baroka. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na skladatelskou osobnost 20. století Leoše Janáčka a jeho Pohádku pro violoncello a klavír. Třetí kapitola je v podobném směru zaměřena na život jeho vrstevníka Josefa Bohuslava Foerstera a jeho Violoncellovou sonátu f moll, op. 45. Následující část je věnována skladateli Vítězslavu Novákovi a jeho jednověté Sonátě g moll pro violoncello a klavír, op. 68. Galerii skladatelů v této práci uzavírá Josef Suk se svojí Baladou d moll pro violoncello a klavír, op. 3. Uvedené čtyři kompozice byly podrobeny průběhové analýze a doplněny ukázkami z partitur. Závěrečné shrnutí přináší porovnání jednotlivých hudebních složek a využití zvukových možností violoncella.

Abstract:

The theme of the Diploma thesis is Czech cello compositions at the turn of 19th and 20th century. The work is divided into six separate chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the cello. It represents the viola da gamba as an antecedent of the cello and accompanies the origin and history of the instrument. It is also classified into the group of musical instruments and describes the different modes of play. Conclusion of the first chapter is devoted to the overview of the most famous pieces composed for cello from the Baroque period. The second chapter focuses on the compositional personality of 20th century, Leoš Janáček, and his The Tale for cello and piano. The third chapter is focused in a similar direction on a life of its peer Josef Bohuslav Foerster and his Cello sonata in F minor, op. 45. The following section is devoted to the composer Vítězslav Novák and his one-movement Sonata in G minor for Cello and Piano, op. 68. Gallery composers in this thesis concludes Josef Suk with his Ballada in D minor for Cello and Piano, Op. 3. The four compositions were subjected to continuous analysis and supplemented with extracts from the scores. Final summary of a comparison of the various musical folders and the use of sound possibilities of cello.
