Phenomenon FOREIGNER in the perspective of pedagogical staff

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na téma cizinec a na naše vnímání tohoto fenoménu. Její teoretická část se zabývá vymezením základních pojmů, jako je kulturní diverzita, migrace, její druhy a příčiny, vymezení a vznik kulturní identity, zásady interkulturní komunikace a práce s cizinci v interkulturním kolektivu. Praktická část je zpracována na základě dotazníku určeného pro pedagogický personál a zjišťuje jejich vnímání fenoménu cizinec či případné stereotypy a předsudky vůči nim. Celá práce a její výsledky by mohly posloužit jako motivace pro zamyšlení nad touto problematikou

Abstract:

The present thesis is focused on the foreigner and to our perception of the phenomenon. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts such as cultural diversity, migration, its causes and types, the definition and creation of cultural identity, intercultural communication and the principles of working with foreigners in intercultural team. The practical part is processed on the basis of a questionnaire designed for pedagogical staff and ascertained their perceptions of the phenomenon of the foreigner or any stereotypes and prejudices against them. All work and its results could serve as motivation for the consideration of this issue.
